Due to ongoing success with the brand, Glamorous is looking for a ‘mid-weight’ Ladieswear Designer to join our small and friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis within our Manchester head office.

The Role:

  • Support the Senior Designer with Range Planning and Design
  • Researching, creating collections, putting together themes, fabrics and prints
  • Designing multi-products and artwork for prints
  • Liaise with the Sales Department to move-on best Sellers on a regular basis, attending Best Seller Meetings
  • Liaise with Merchandising to approve fabrics and prints
  • Liaise with Garment technologists to approve fits
  • Creating and maintaining line sheets, ensuring critical path deadlines are maintained
  • You will be required to travel nationally and internationally for fabric/trim sourcing, design inspiration/research and range build

The person:

  • Degree educated within fashion design
  • Experience in designing multi-product with detailed tech packs and specs from scratch
  • A thorough and constantly maintained knowledge of catwalk and high street trends as well as fast, young, fashion
  • Computer literate in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Excel
  • Strong technical knowledge of garment construction and understanding of designing to a price point
  • Genuine ‘passion for fashion’
  • Self-motivated - Able to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to design and build a balanced and cohesive range
  • Self-motivated and hard-working with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Experience in graphics/prints, outerwear or denim would be advantageous

Position: Territory Sales Executive

Direct Reporting Line to: (International Sales Manager Distributor / Wholesale Business)

Location: Manchester – United Kingdom

Key Interfaces: Sales Manager Distributor Business EMEA, Customer Solutions Director EMEA, Operations Director, Trade Sales Support Supervisor, Customer Services Supervisor, Customer Services and Sales Support Facilitators

Purpose/Mission: To gain profitable sales and a high level of customer service within the designated geographical territories in order to meet agreed annual sales targets and to ensure long term repeat business.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • For hitting agreed KPIs
  • For identifying and securing the most capable and professional customers within your designated territory that have the ability to achieve sales targets for Kacoo Ltd products.
  • To have knowledge of each market in order to identify strategic accounts (of our Distributor Partners) in each territory and to support our Distributor Partners to ensure our products are being purchased by them.
  • To create and implement strategies that will increase the average order value and the range of products offered by our customers.
  • To be fully responsible for customer satisfaction in all aspects of ‘after sales’ and to negotiate a win/ win solution to customer complaints. Support other team members in the development and implementation of customer care standards to ensure ongoing repeat business

Key Tasks: Functional

  • To identify knowledge gaps within customer’s sales teams and to provide training materials or presentations in order to ensure they are able to sell our products and services and overcome objections
  • To support Distributors by attending trade shows and exhibitions and assisting them by demonstrate products and sell products in order to promote Kacoo Ltd products and/or services, attending to the interest of Distributor customers at those events and where possible other interested customer groups.
  • To ensure that all Distributor orders are correctly calculated and submitted for before commencement of any work or dispatch of goods. This will ensure that minimum margins are being met and that Kacoo Ltd will generate profit.
  • To be able to manage and negotiate sensitive situations with customers in order to achieve a win/win outcome.
  • To ensure all customer orders are paid for on time
  • To have fixed review with colleagues to identify how to improve our products, process and services in order to assist in customer loyalty.To produce an annual sales business plan that demonstrates exactly how the sales target will be achieved
  • To submit a quarterly update of the business plan by the 15th of the first month in each quarter to the European Sales Manager EMEA
  • To create a yearly activity plan that is updated and submitted weekly to the European Sales Manager .
  • To present a weekly 121 report to the European Sales Manager EMEA
  • To ensure all customer account details are kept up to date and stored on the CRM / SAP system
  • To provide a quarterly sales forecast that is updated by the 31st of each month and to liaise with other Departments within Kacoo Ltd to ensure that customer’s orders/forecasts are communicated and known and that products/inventory and/or services are scheduled, prioritized, progressed and delivered in order to satisfy external and internal customers expectations
  • To have in place quarterly review meetings either face to face or over the phone with each of our trade customers and to ensure the meeting overview is added to the CRM / SAP systems
  • To analyse customer accounts and advise on the quarterly update of any actions and support that is needed in order to increase sales


  • Excellent negotiation skills in order to ensure a profitable business and to be able to convince customers
  • Conceptual selling skills
  • Fluent in English and either Russian, Italian, Czech or German and other languages
  • Technical ability and product knowledge of all Kacoo products
  • To have the ability to communicate a message and present in front of an audience
  • Ability to analyze and evaluate information in order to support the justification for an action
  • To ensure a high level of verbal and written skills are used when creating any customer communication letters or contracts
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Experience in dealing with problem solving and processing customer enquiries
  • Ability to be tactful, assertive, resilient and professional at all time when in the company of business partners and colleagues
  • To be positive in your approach to customers and colleagues

Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Account Sales Executive to join Kacoo Fashion Ltd on a full-time and permanent basis. Working from our Manchester City Centre head office, the successful sales person will be responsible for selling our successful womenswear label, Glamorous, for our international wholesale accounts for apparel.

We are looking for a candidate with direct experience managing wholesale accounts within the fashion industry or an industry relatable to fashion. The successful candidate will have ownership over their assigned accounts and will ultimately be responsible for customer service, selling and handling the process from initial interest to product delivery. The Account Sales Executive will be reporting into the Head of Wholesale and will be responsible for:

  • Managing and growing relationships with existing accounts, working towards and exceeding monthly sales targets
  • Highlighting customer targeted products and best sellers to existing international customers
  • Effectively manage critical path to ensure orders are delivered on time
  • Prepare all paper work for prospective and confirmed orders
  • Representing Glamorous at the Tradeshows – some international travel will be required on an infrequent basis

The successful candidate will also have the following skills and attributes:

  • Excellent PC skills including Microsoft Office
  • Highly organised
  • Strong interest in fashion
  • Commercially minded - understands our Glamorous brand and customer
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer service skills

Sales Manager

Kacoo Fashion Ltd. is a Manchester based multichannel womenswear company with a fast-growing international presence. Our labels include Glamorous and True Decadence and our labels are found in over 30 different countries worldwide. Working close to the season, we are able to respond quickly to the market demand by controlling all aspects of the supply chain from design through to distribution.
With a strong presence in both the UK and internationally, we are looking to build upon our success and to seize new opportunities for growth. We are therefore looking to expand our Sales department in our Manchester office and are recruiting for a Sales Manager. Reporting to the Director, duties will include but will not be limited to:

• Accountable for the management of all sales operation for the UK and international markets
• Develop and refine business plan and strategy for maximizing potential
• Set profit and revenue targets and develop plans to exploit accordingly
• Identify and follow through with new business opportunities to increase market presence
• Develop and lead a team of sales personnel
• Attend range reviews with design team to improve range through customer feedback
• Manage and attend trade shows

The person:

• Demonstrable commercial acumen with the ability to visualise opportunities for growth and the steps required to get there
• Proven experience of developing sales within a fashion organisation
